The New Healthcare Facilities Programme sets out to deliver the redevelopment of the Island’s healthcare estate over the next 10 years to meet the future needs of healthcare in Jersey. Our dedicated healthcare professionals continue to provide clinical care for Islanders despite the aged buildings that will not provide enough inpatient beds for our population that is living longer with more complex health needs. The immediate priority is to start building an Acute Hospital at Overdale. Construction is planned to start in 2025 with the completion of the hospital due in 2028.
